Provisionally selected candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully before starting and confirm their admission by paying the requisite fees before proceeding for the online admission to be held only during 27th & 28th July 2021. Those confirming their admission by paying the requisite admission fees are required to complete the necessary formalities by following the Instructions given below. Links will be closed after 28th July 2021 and those who do not confirm their seats, it will be considered that the candidate is not interested and their seat will be cancel in NIT Meghalaya.

I. Instructions to the Candidates :

  1. Pay the fees as mentioned in the payment process.
  2. Arrange scanned copy of original documents (should be clear and legible) as mentioned in Step IV for uploading.
  3. Online Reporting and Document verification at the Institute - 27th & 28th July 2021
  4. Fill the online form Step III
  5. After successful verification of all documents sent by the candidate he/she will get an acknowledgement email.
  6. In case of any discrepancy of documents/payment, reporting officers may email/call the admitted candidates.
  7. Hard copy of all documents uploaded should be send by speed post/courier.

• Payment Process using State Bank Collect (SB Collect)

  1. Click on “Make Payment using SB Collect” under Payment Link.
  2. A DISCLAIMER CLAUSE page will open. Check the box for I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated above and click on the PROCEED button.
  3. From the drop down menu, State of Corporate/Institution, select Meghalaya.
  4. From the drop down menu, Type of Corporate/Institution, select Educational Institutions. Click on the GO button.
  5. From the drop down menu, Educational Institutions Name, select NIT MEGHALAYA FEE COLLECTION. Click on the SUBMIT button.
  6. A page for details of payment will open. Under Select Payment Category, select PH.D SPONSORED (PART TIME) CATEGORY. Please read the complete page carefully before filling up.
  7. Please fill all the required details. Write Student ID (As mentioned in the provisional list of Admission) in the space of “Roll No” if required. Click on the SUBMIT button.
  8. A page to verify details and confirm this transaction will appear. Click on the CONFIRM button if your details are correct.
  9. You will be directed to payment page.
  10. Complete the payment process by selecting the mode of payment that you wish.
  11. Save the soft copy of payment receipt for submission during admission.

  1. Document checklist to be filled up and signed by candidate (Download here).
  2. Admission Form (need to be filled, signed and scan for online submission). (Download here).
  3. Proposed co-supervisor’s consent letter and CV.
  4. Admission Payment Receipts. (See Step II, Payment Process)
  5. Experience Certificate (Total 5 Years’ Experience & 2 Years’ Experience from current employer)
  6. Merit list copy-candidate's name to be highlighted.
  7. All Educational Mark Sheets & certificates
  8. NOC (Download here) or Sponsorship letter (if your organization will sponsor all the financial aspects for pursuing the PhD programme in NIT Meghalaya ) (Download here).
  9. Caste Certificate {For OBC, Certificate issued must be latest}.
  10. Employee Identity Card (both sides)
  11. Income declaration form (Download here).
  12. Proof of Date of Birth (preferably issued by municipal body).
  13. Latest  passport size photograph (for Institute ID card)
  14. Signature (for Institute ID card)
  15. Aadhar Card & Voter’s ID
  16. First page photocopy of SBI Bank Account only for account details(other banks not accepted)

The admission form along with self-attested photocopies of all documents mentioned above should be send by speed post/courier in a A4 size envelope by mentioning "Admission documents for Ph.D Programme under Sponsored (Part time) category in ___________Department“ should reach to the following address;
