Admission Procedure of B. Tech Students (Selected through JOSAA, Special Round)
Physical Admission (Allotted in Special Round) Date: 1st to 6th August

Candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully. Make the balance payment. Organize all the documents in order. Be present during physical admission with all the documents.
JoSAA Document Verification cum Seat Acceptance Letter and Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (after reporting).
Payment Receipts from JoSAA (for the amount paid to JoSAA).
Balance Payment Receipt from students if applicable (check payment procedure below).
JEE Score Card (one set self attested copy).
All Educational Mark sheets and Certificates (Original & one set self attested copy).
Caste Certificate (Original & one set self attested copy).
For OBC, Certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2018.
For PwD candidates, the PwD certificate as per JoSAA format will be considered.
DOB Proof (Original & one set self attested copy).
The candidates shall fill their Anti Ragging Affidavits online as per the UGC guidelines through the portal “http://amanmovement.org/form” or “www.antiragging.in” and submit printout of the affidavits with the signature of the candidate and parents/ guardian to the office of the undersigned during the admission.
For Provisional Admissions, Course Completion Certificate issued by the Institute is a must if final result is not yet issued.
In case the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission will be permitted to an eligible student subject to all the academic grade sheets to be submitted by September 15, 2018.
The Institute reserves the right to cancel admission of a selected student in cases of non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or furnishing of false documents.

PAYMENT PROCESS: (Read complete information before proceeding to make payment):
Payment processes are given below .You can make balance payment before coming for admission to the institute (check fees payable). Make balance Payment before coming for physical admission at the allotted Institute. SC/ST candidates are not required to pay any amount besides the payment made to JoSAA .They may come directly to the institute to take admission.
Payment Process using State Bank Collect (SB Collect)
Click on “Make Payment using SB Collect” under Payment Link.
A DISCLAIMER CLAUSE page will open. Check the box for I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated above and click on the PROCEED button.
From the drop down menu, State of Corporate/Institution, select Meghalaya.
From the drop down menu, Type of Corporate/Institution, select Educational Institutions. Click on the GO button.
From the drop down menu, Educational Institutions Name, select NIT MEGHALAYA FEE COLLECTION. Click on the SUBMIT button.
A page for details of payment will open. Under Select Payment Category, select B.TECH NEW ADMISSION 2018 THROUGH SPECIAL ROUND
Please read the complete page carefully.
Please fill all the required details. Write Allotment No (As mentioned in the provisional Allotment letter) in the space of “Roll No”. If you want to opt for Hostel, please choose hostellers.
Click on the SUBMIT button.
A page to verify details and confirm this transaction will appear. Click on the CONFIRM button if your details are correct.
You will be directed to payment page.
Complete the payment process by selecting the mode of payment that you wish.
Take print of payment receipt for submission during admission.
INSTRUCTION TO THE STUDENTS:
Make balance payment.
Arrange all your documents in order.
Check “How to Reach NIT Meghalaya”
Come to the Institute during specified dates and proceed towards the Admission Centre with all required documents and payment challans stated above.
Our officials will guide you for completing the admission process.
Take Student Copy of the admission forms and hostel admission forms for future reference. Collect “Instruction for Hostellers”.
Hostel will be made available from 23rd July, 2018onwards.
