Minutes of the PIC Meeting, RECTPCL funded CSR Project on 14th December 2020

One more PIC meeting was conducted on 14th December 2020 at National Institute of Technology Meghalaya. The project associate demonstrated the functioning of the purchased AC and DC Microgrid setups before the committee. The committee discussed various points with regards to the activities undertaken in different stages along with funds spent and activities pending with budget requirement and funds available for completing the first phase of the project.
Mr. A. K. Jain, PIC nominated member of RECTPCL-CSR funded project has emphasized for timely completion of the project especially meeting the CAPEX approved guidelines.

During this meeting, it was also discussed about the purchase of remaining major items after receiving the fund from RECTPCL. Once the fund is received, the PI (s) must take it on priority to utilize the amount towards procurement of remaining items rather spending in any other heads. Though various activities like research work, organizing training program, presenting paper in the conference, etc. are included as project objectives, the expenditure towards these activities may be stopped for the time-being. The following Table presents activities with fund spent, fund available, budget requirement, and timeline requirement for completion of the project.
