About Research Conclave

National Institute of Technology Meghalaya has been organizing the Research Conclave since 2020 for the benefits of the Ph.D. scholars of various Institutes in the north east and other parts of the country. Research Conclave has become an excellent platform to showcase the ongoing research activities by research scholars of NIT Meghalaya and other Institutes. It also provides a platform to exchange thoughts amongst distinguished guests, faculties and scholars from various disciplines. It intends to bring the scholars to address research relevant to socio-economic problems of north east and also to the mankind as a whole. Research Conclave provides a forum to identify multi-disciplinary problems and also encourages the young minds to be passionate about their research and bring out quality research in terms of innovative ideas, products, commercial patent filing etc.

This Conclave provides an opportunity to the scholars of various institutes to share ideas in diversified topics related to current trends and future advances in various domains of engineering, sciences and humanities. This is the third Research conclave which is being organized by NIT Meghalaya. In the past events of Research Conclaves organized by the Institute, participants from NIT Meghalaya and also from various reputed Institutes and Central Universities have participated in the form of poster presentation, paper presentation, research work demonstration, expert talks and lectures by INAE fellows and Bhatnagar awardees.

Showcasing the ongoing research activities by research scholars of NIT Meghalaya and other institutes.
Providing a platform for exchange of thoughts among distinguished guests, faculties and scholars from various disciplines.
Inspiring and encouraging research scholars to demonstrate their innovative research work.
