Objective of the Conclave

  • Providing a platform for exchange of thoughts among distinguished guests, faculties and scholars from various disciplines.
  • Inspiring and encouraging research scholars to demonstrate their innovative research work.

About Research Conclave

Research Conclave is organized by the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya for the benefits of Ph.D scholars of various Institutes. Research Conclave has become an excellent platform to nurture young minds towards accelerated research and innovation. It intends to bring the scholars to address on research relevant to socio-economic problems. Research Conclave provides a forum to identify multidisciplinary problems and also encourage the scholars to be passionate about their research and bring out quality research outputs. This Conclave provides an opportunity to the scholars of various institutes to share ideas in diversified topics related to current trends and future advances in various domain areas in engineering, sciences and humanities. This is the third Research conclave, NIT Meghalaya is organizing. In the previous Research Conclave organized by the Institute, participants from NIT Meghalaya and also from various reputed Institutes and Central Universities have participated.

About NIT Meghalaya

The National Institute of Technology Meghalaya (established in 2010 under the NIT Act 2007) is one among the thirty one NITs in India. NIT Meghalaya has been ranked 59th by NIRF-2021 engineering ranking. The Institute is presently operating from a temporary campus at Laitumkhrah, Shillong, India. Its permanent campus is under development at Cherrapunjee. The Institutes have five Engineering Departments as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science & Engineering, three Basic Science Departments including Social Science.
