1. This is to notify that the 10th Convocation of the Institute is scheduled to be held on 18th November 2023 (Saturday) in the State Convention Centre, Shillong from 11 AM onwards.
2. Dr. Arun Kumar Sarma, Director General, NECTAR will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Shri. Upananda Kataki, Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., as the Guest of Honour.
3. All the eligible students who completed their respective programmes this year are invited to attend the function. The registration link for attending the Convocation will be activated shortly in the Convocation webpage of the institute and shall remain active till 26the October, 2023.
4. It is also notified that 17th November 2023 will be the Rehearsal Day for the Convocation and all the degree recipients attending the Convocation are to be present during the rehearsal. Rehearsal is scheduled to be held at 3 PM on 17th November 2023 in the Convocation Hall, State Convention Centre.
Post rehearsal, Alumni Meet (6 PM onward), Robe distribution and pre-
convocation dinner will be held at Bijni Complex, NIT Meghalaya.

6. Instructions for robing:
6.1. Collection of convocation robe and scarf on 17-11-2023 from 6pm to 7pm (tentatively).
6.1.1 B.Tech students from CR1
6.1.2 M.Tech students from CR2
6.1.3 M.Sc students from CR3
6.1.4 Ph.D scholars from CR4
6.2. Convocation robes and scarves must be worn on the convocation day.
6.3. Returning the convocation robe and scarf after the convocation at the venue of the convocation (in the Student Robing Room, behind the Convocation Hall, State Convention Centre).

8.1 For Pre-convocation: Two buses (One from Lapalang and One from NEEPCO) have been arranged for the degree recipients, Pick up time: 1 PM
