Motivated and eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for the position of Project Assistant for the project entitled "Post Transition State Dynamics on Chemical Reactions and the Effect of Solvation" under Center of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Human Resources Development Group. The project involves Code development for QM + MM dynamics, development of accurate potential energy functions, carry out the simulation, and analysis of results.

Eligibility:
1. M.Sc. in Chemistry (where specialization is not offered by the institute/organization/university)/Physical Chemistry.
2. NET/Gate qualified
Age limit: Must not be more than 28 years as on July 01, 2019 (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).
Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- per month for first two years and thereafter Rs. 14,000/- per month
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable upto 3 years solely based on the performance. The starting date of the project will be announced as per the availability of the fund.
General terms and conditions:
The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three (03) years. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the Ph.D. program of NIT Meghalaya as per the eligibility criteria.

Self-attested photocopies of these documents are to be submitted along with the filled application form on the day of interview. The selection will be based on the performance on the interview, academic career, and the need of the project. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee selection. Only selected candidate will be communicated to join as PA and no other communication in this regard will be entertained. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
