Admission Procedure for Ph.D  Programme under Full Time Category, Autumn 2022

Online Admission Dates: 26th -27th July 2022

Mode: Online

Provisionally selected candidates who have confirmed their admission by paying the requisite fees are advised to read all the instructions carefully before proceeding for the online admission to be held only during 26th -27th July 2022. The links will be closed after 27th July 2022 and the seats of those who have not completed the admission will be cancelled without further notice. Classes for course work will commence from 01st August 2022 and the candidates should be physically present in the campus. The class time table may be checked from the Institute Website.

  1. Instructions to the Candidates :
  1. Arrange scanned copy of original documents (should be clear and legible) as mentioned in Step III for uploading.
  2. Fill the online form given in Step II and upload all necessary documents.
  3. In case of any discrepancy of documents, verifying officers may email/call the admitted candidates for clarification or submission of additional documents.
  4. After successful verification of all documents sent by the candidate he/she will get an acknowledgement email.
  5. The admission form along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents mentioned should be submitted
  6. Self-Attested hard copies of all the documents as mentioned below in point III should be submitted at Departmental Office, Academic Block, positively by 5th of August 2022.
  7. In case the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission will be permitted to an eligible student subject to all the academic grade sheets & degree certificates to be submitted by 15th September, 2022. For provisional admissions, Course Completion Certificate is compulsory if M.Tech/ME/final Sem. Grade Sheet is not issued yet. The Institute reserves the right to cancel admission of a selected student in case of non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or furnishing false documents.
  8. Pending documents to be submitted by the students after the admission, if any, should be submitted latest by 15th September, 2022.
  9. If a student completes the admission process, he/she will be considered to have enrolled for the Programme and if the student does not attend class after admission or requests to drop from the course, no amount will be refunded.

  1. Document checklist to be filled up and signed by candidate (Download here).
  2. Admission Form (need to be filled, signed and scan for online submission). (Download here).
  3. Admission Payment Receipts (Institute and mess advance).
  4. Merit list copy-candidate's name to be highlighted.
  5. All Educational Mark Sheets  & certificates
  6. Valid Gate/NET Score Card (Expired GATE score card should not be uploaded).
  7. Caste Certificate {For OBC, Certificate issued must be latest}.
  8. As per the Hon. Supreme Court & UGC/MHRD Regulations, all students should compulsorily fill in an Anti-Raging Undertaking each year. To make the process easy Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD) has developed an online facility. Undertaking should be filled ONLINE at: www.amanmovement.org (OR) www.antiragging.in and upload the acknowledgment mail copy during admission.
  9. Income declaration form (Download here).
  10. Proof of Date of Birth (preferably issued by municipal body).
  11. Disability (PH) certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority in standard format (if applicable).
  12. Hostel Application Form duly signed by student/parents/guardian if applicable. (Download here).
  13. Latest  passport size photograph (for Institute ID card)
  14. Signature (for Institute ID card)
  15. Aadhar Card & Voter’s ID
  16. BPL Certificate to be submitted during admission (if applicable).
  17. First page photocopy of SBI Bank Account only for account details(other banks not accepted)

  19. Affidavit of Scholarship undertaking (Download format)

The Institute reserves the right to cancel the admission of a selected candidate in case of non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or furnishing false documents, at any point of time, without further notice.
