Notification: Written Test & Skill Test NF Positions

NOTIFICATION

The lists of candidates provisionally screened in and candidates screened out for the posts of Technical Assistant, Dept. of Civil Engineering, Technician, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Technician, Computer Centre advertised by the Institute vide Advt. No. NITMGH/ES/REC/N-F/Vol.VI/2023-24/146 dated 21.04.2023 are already available on the Institute website.

The lists are provisional, and candidates will have to produce all original certificates, mark-sheets, documents, testimonials, medical certificate, etc. for verification before being allowed to appear for the Skill/ Trade Test.

In the event of any discrepancy/ deficiency/ false/ forgery in the certificates noticed, the candidate(s) shall be rejected, and the application shall be forfeited.

The following information about the Written Test is for the screened in candidates.

The recruitment process for all the posts will be in two stages, viz. Written Test and Skill / Trade Test.  The Skill / Trade Test will be for the candidates who qualify after the Written Test. Candidates may please note the information given below regarding the Written Test:

Syllabus

Questions will be from the respective Department / Branch applied for as per the advertisement.

Question paper pattern

Multiple Choice Questions

50 (fifty) questions of 2 (two) marks each

There will be no negative marking

Selection criteria for next stage, i.e. Skill/ Trade Test

For Technician (Computer Centre and Computer Science & Engineering Dept): Qualifying marks of the Written test shall be 40 (forty) to qualify for Skill/ Trade Test

For Technical Assistant (Civil Engineering Dept): The number of shortlisted candidates for the Skill/ Trade Test shall be between 1:5 to 1:20 based on merit in the Written Test

 

 

  • ADMIT CARD:  Candidates can download the Admit Card by logging in to the NITM Staff Recruitment Portal using their login ID & Password and go to "My Applications" then click on the download Admit Card link against the post applied. Candidates will have to print the Admit and bring it along with them for the Written Test.
  • Candidates without an Admit Card will not be allowed to appear for the Written Test.
  • The result of the Written Test will be declared on the Institute website on 24.07.2023.
  • The Skill / Trade Test for candidates who have qualified after the written test of all posts will be conducted on 26.07.2023.
