" Online reporting for BTech admission 2021 has been extended till 13-12-2021, however the classes, induction and orientation programme will continue as as per the Academic Calendar " 

Candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully and make the Institute and Hostel Balance Fee payment.

Procedure for online Reporting and Document verification:

1)Instructions to the Newly Admitted Students

  • Online Reporting and Document verification by the Institute starts from 8th–9th Dec, 2021 from 10 AM-5 PM
  • Allotted candidates have to virtually report to the Institute by filing the Google Admission Form via link,
  • While filling the Google Admission form, candidates should be ready with all the scanned copy of original documents, payment receipts, etc. for uploading.
  • Allotted candidates must also email all the forms and required documents specified under the Documents’ checklist in a single zip and email it to Mention the subject of your mail as “B.Tech Admission documents of (your name)(Department applied)”. Eg: B.Tech Admission documents of Ravi Sharma (ECE)
  • Provisionally admitted PwD students should undergo medical examination for final confirmation of seats upon physically joining the Institute.
  • Hostel Fees is mandatory for all new admissions. Local students, who are not willing to stay in the hostel, may give application in proper format to the Chief Warden for approval, upon joining the Institute. If the application is approved, the student can claim for the refund of the excess amount paid as hosteller.
  •  Once the Institute decides on calling back the students to the campus, the same will be notified to the students in advance.

To Complete the Online Reporting, you must:

  • Download the required forms from Section 3, fill, sign and scan for upload.
  • Make the required balance fee payment.
  • Rename all the scanned copies as per the document checklist. (Eg. Ravi Sharma-10th mark sheet).
  • Fill the Google Admission form and upload all the required documents.

  • Students will have to pay the balance amount as shown in the table above for the remaining components as per the fee structure. (Read complete information before proceeding to make payment)
  • Payment Process using State Bank Collect (SB Collect)
  • Click on “Make Payment Using SB Collect” under Payment Link.
  • A DISCLAIMER CLAUSE page will open. Check the box for I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated above and click on the PROCEED button.
  • From the drop down menu, State of Corporate/Institution, select Meghalaya.
  • From the drop down menu, Type of Corporate/Institution, select Educational Institutions. Click on the GO button.
  • From the drop down menu, Educational Institutions Name, Select
  • Click on the SUBMIT button.
  • A page for details of payment will open. Under Select Payment Category, select

  • Please read the complete page carefully before filling up.
  • Please fill all the required details.
  • A page to verify details and confirm this transaction will appear. Click on the CONFIRM button if your details are correct.
  • You will be directed to payment page.
  • Complete the payment process by selecting the mode of payment as per convenience.
  • Take print out and save the PDF copy of payment receipt for submitting during online admission.

3) Forms that need to be filled, signed and scanned for online submission.

4) Certificates and other documents to be uploaded during online reporting (Should be renamed and arranged in the given order):

  • Admission Form to be filled and signed.
  • Soft copy of Passport size photograph.
  • Scanned copy of signature.
  • Document Checklist to be filled and signed.
  • JoSAA/CSABDocument Verification Letter
  • JoSAA/CSABSeat Acceptance Letter
  • JoSAA/CSAB Provisional Admission Letter
  • Payment Receipts from JoSAA (for the amount paid to JoSAA/CSAB).
  • Balance Payment Receipt paid to NIT Meghalaya.
  • JEE Score Card.
  • All Educational Mark sheets and Passed Certificates
  • Category Certificate. {For OBC NCL, Certificate issued must be latest}.
  • For PwD candidates, the PwD certificate as per JoSAA format will be considered.
  • DOB Proof (preferably issued by Registrar of Births and Deaths).
  • As per the Hon. Supreme Court & UGC/Ministry Regulations, all students should compulsorily fill in an Anti-Raging Undertaking each year. To make the process easy Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD) has developed an online facility. Undertaking should be filled ONLINE at: or confirmation email with Reference number received may be used during admission
  • Hostel Application Form duly signed by student/parents/guardian.
  • Income Declaration.
  • BPL Certificate to be submitted during admission (if applicable).
  • Copies of Voters ID Card & Aadhar Card.
  • Front page of SBI passbook of the student’s a/c.

The document checklist, admission form along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents mentioned above should be sent by speed post only in an A4 size envelope by mentioning "Admission documents for B.Tech Programme in ___________Department“ and it should reach to the following address on or before 30th December, 2021.
