Online reporting for CCMN Candidates allotted in National Spot Round (NSR): 14th - 20th September 2021

" Vacant Seats after CCMN 2021 Counselling will be filled by Non-CCMN candidates (Provisionally selected list will be uploaded in the Institute Website after CCMN Admission is over after which the recommended candidates may proceed for admission). "

"Candidates who have been selected for provisional admission (Click here for provisional list) can proceed for the online reporting scheduled from 21-09-21 to 24-09-21. Candidates are advised to complete the online reporting at the earliest and join the online classes as it has already commenced from 21-09-21."

The provisionally allotted/selected candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully before proceeding with the online admission, make the required payment (if any), scan and organize all required documents and complete the necessary formalities by following the Instructions given below;

Instructions to the Students

  • Online Admission process starts from 06th to 08th September, 2021 and the selected candidates can report to the Institute via online mode by filling up the online admission form. Physical visit to the Institute is not required at this point of time.
  • Arrange scanned copy of original documents as mentioned in the ‘Document Checklist’ for uploading. The scanned documents should be clear and legible. Candidates are advised to obtain beforehand their UG marksheets, passed/provisional certificates etc from their last attended Institute so that there is no delay in completing the online admission process.   
  • Fill the online form. Before filling/uploading, candidates should read the instructions properly which have been given in the online form.                                                 
  • Candidates who are allotted seats at NIT Meghalaya are required to fill all the relevant forms as given in “Documents Required During Admission Process”.
  • In case of any discrepancy or shortage of documents, the verifying officers will email/call the candidate to provide the same.
  • Hostel Fees are mandatory for all new admissions. Students, who are not willing to stay in the hostel may submit an application for approval to the Chief Warden, in proper format, upon joining the campus after the pandemic situation eases out. If the application is approved, the student can claim for the refund of the excess amount paid as hosteller.
  • Those who have not completed the final year/semester exam, please note that you will have to submit an undertaking in the prescribed format provided. You will be provisionally admitted and your admission will be confirmed only if you successfully complete your UG programme and submit all the supporting documents from the last Institute/University attended on or before October 30th, 2021.
  • In case the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission will be permitted to an eligible student subject to all the academic grade sheets and certificates to be submitted on or before October 30th, 2021. Submission of Course Completion Certificate from the last attended Institute/University is compulsory in this case.
  • Candidates will receive an acknowledgement email and further instructions on 09-09-21.
  • The Institute reserves the right to cancel admission of a selected student in case of non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or furnishing of false documents.
  • Online classes will take place through Google Class Room and the orientation, induction programme and commencement of classes will start from 21-09-2021. Details will be notified shortly.
  • Admitted students are also required to submit hard copies of the documents (one set of all self-attested photocopies of all the documents as per the ‘Document Checklist’) by sending it through speed post only, address given at the bottom of this notification.

  • From the drop down menu, State of Corporate/Institution, select Meghalaya.
  • From the drop down menu, Type of Corporate/Institution, select Educational Institutions. Click on the GO button.

  • A page for details of payment will open. Under Select Payment Category, select

  • HOSTEL FEES (NEW HOSTELLER) (only for sl no 15,16 &19 of the fee structure)
  • Please read the complete page carefully before filling up.
  • Please fill all the required details. If roll no is required, enter serial no of merit list in the space of “Roll No”. Click on the SUBMIT button.
  • A page to verify details and confirm this transaction will appear. Click on the CONFIRM button if your details are correct.
  • You will be directed to payment page.
  • Complete the payment process by selecting the mode of payment that you wish.
  • Save the fee receipts, soft copies should be email to the address mentioned above and hard copy is to be submitted when required. If payment receipts are not saved, you can Google how to generate payment receipts from SBI Collect payment history by entering phn no and DoB.

4) Documents Required During Admission Process (To be arranged in the given order):

  • Document Checklist to be filled and signed (Download here)
  • Admission Form (need to be filled, signed and scan for online submission). (Download here).
  • Provisional Admission Letter from CCMN (not required for Non-CCMN)
  • Counselling Participation Fee (CPF) & Counselling Confirmation Fee (CCF) Payment Receipts  (not required for Non-CCMN)
  • Balance Payment Receipt from students (for Non-CCMN only)
  • JAM Score Card (optional for Non-CCMN)
  • All Educational grade sheets, Consolidated grade sheet (transcript) and Passed/Provisional Certificates.
  • Course Completion Certificate issued by the Institute is a must if final semester grade sheet is not yet issued.
  • Caste Certificate. {For OBC, Certificate issued must be latest}.
  • As per the Hon. Supreme Court & UGC/Ministry Regulations, all students should compulsorily fill in an Anti-Raging Undertaking each year. To make the process easy Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD) has developed an online facility. Undertaking should be filled ONLINE at: www.amanmovement.org (OR) www.antiragging.in and upload the signed copy during admission.
  • Income Declaration to be submitted during admission. (Download here).
  • DOB Proof (preferably issued by municipal body or class 10 admit card).
  • Disability (PH) certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority in standard format (if applicable).
  • Hostel Application Form duly signed by student/parents/guardian if applicable.

  • Latest passport size photograph (three nos is required while sending hard copy).
  • Signature (for Institute ID card)
  • BPL Certificate to be submitted during admission (if applicable).
  • Voters ID Card & Aadhar Card.
  • First page photocopy of SBI Bank Account only for account details(other banks not accepted)
  • Self-declaration of the course completion certificate (Download here).

The document checklist, admission form along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents mentioned above should be sent by speed post only in an A4 size envelope by mentioning “Admission documents for M.Sc Programme in ___________Department” and it should reach to the following address on or before 30st Sept, 2021;
