Online filling of form & upload of documents: 30th July - 11th August 2024

Physical Reporting at the Institute: From 6th - 12th August 2024 (Tentatively)

Excluding Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays. 

The provisionally allotted/selected candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully before proceeding for the reporting process, make the required payment, scan and organize all required documents and complete the necessary formalities by following the Instructions given below;

 

Procedure for online filling of form and document upload:

  1. Arrange and scan the copy of original documents as mentioned in the ‘Document Checklist’ for uploading. The scanned documents should be clear and legible. Candidates are advised to obtain beforehand their UG marksheets, passed/provisional certificates etc from their last attended Institute so that there is no delay in completing the online admission form.   
  2. Fill the online form and upload all necessary documents. Link: Online Application Form
  3. Those who have not completed the final year/semester exam, please note that you will have to submit an undertaking in the prescribed format provided. You will be provisionally admitted and your admission will be confirmed only if you successfully complete your UG programme and submit all the supporting documents from the last Institute/University attended on or before September 30th, 2024.
  4. In case the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission will be permitted to an eligible student subject to all the academic grade sheets and certificates to be submitted on or before September 30th, 2024. Submission of Course Completion Certificate from the last attended Institute/University is compulsory in this case
  5. The Institute reserves the right to cancel the admission of a selected candidate in case of non-completion of the admission process, non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or furnishing false documents, at any point of time, without further notice.
  6. The admitted students must compulsorily submit self-attested hard copies of all the documents as per the ‘Document Checklist’ at the time of physical reporting.

  2. For paying the Institute Fee,

          Search for NIT Meghalaya Fee Collection in the search box.

          Select M.Sc New Admission 2024 Through CCMN from the drop-down menu and fill the relevant details.

  1. For paying the Hostel Fee,

         Search for NIT Meghalaya Hotel Account in the search box.

         Select Hostel Fees (New Hosteller) from the drop-down menu and fill the relevant details.

  1. Print the payment receipt and save it for further reference and needful. If needed receipt can be downloaded again from payment history by entering DOB & Mobile no or DU number.

Documents Required During Admission Process (To be arranged in the given order):

  1. Document checklist to be filled up and signed by the candidate. (Download here
  2. Admission Form (need to be filled, signed and scan for online submission).  (Download here).
  3. Provisional Seat Allotment letter and all the fee payment receipts paid to CCMN and NIT Meghalaya.
  4. Valid JAM Score Card.
  5. All Educational grade/mark sheets and Passed/Provisional Certificates. 
  6. Course Completion Certificate issued by the Institute is a must if final semester grade sheet is not yet issued. 
  7. Category Certificate issued on or after 1st April, 2024 (For OBC-NCL & EWS candidates).
  8. As per the Hon. Supreme Court & UGC/Ministry Regulations, all students should compulsorily fill in an Anti-Raging Undertaking each year. To make the process easy, the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD) has developed an online facility. Undertaking should be filled ONLINE at: www.amanmovement.org (OR) www.antiragging.in and upload the signed copy during admission.
  9. Income Declaration form. (Download here).
  10. Proof of DOB (Class X admit card or marksheet, where DoB is mentioned).
  11. Disability (PH) certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority in standard format (if applicable). 
  12. Hostel Application Form duly signed by student/parents/guardian if applicable. (Download here).
  13. Latest passport size photograph (one copy).
  14. Signature (for Institute ID card)
  15. BPL Certificate to be submitted during admission (if applicable).
  16. Voters ID Card & Aadhar Card.

  18. First page photocopy of SBI Bank Account only for account details (other banks not accepted).
