Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering for SERB-DST project “Investigation on Data-Driven Event Detection using Indian Power Grid's Synchrophasor Data”.

Tech. or M.S.) in CSE/ IT/ ECE/ Computer Networks/ Software Engineering and Graduate Degree (B. Tech. or B.E.) in CSE/ IT/ ECE with NET/ GATE qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences (M. Sc. Computer Science or MCA) with GATE/ NET qualification. Good knowledge of programming language e.g. C, C++, Java, Knowledge of data science packages.

Duration of the Project: Initially for six months, extendible upto project completion.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The above position is purely contractual for an initial period of six months or co-terminus with the project.
  2. The candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age for the award of Fellowship on the stipulated last date of receiving applications in response to advertisement. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged applicants. Only short-listed candidates will be intimated by email for interview.
  3. Filled in application form (soft copy only) must be sent to “diptendu.sr@nitm.ac.in” email by no later than May 07, 2021. Subject of the email should contain “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SERB)”. Any other subject line might lead to rejection of the application.
  4. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email for interview. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by May 08, 2021.
  5. Applicants must attach self-attested scanned copies of the certificates without which the application will be rejected. Also, proofs for other documents (like published papers, other achievements etc.) may be attached separately as annexures if required.
  6. Candidates must preserve the signed hard copy of the duly filled application form with them. That will be required for submission if eventually selected.
  7. Interview will be held tentatively around May 10, 2021 via Online mode. Exact date and time will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through a separate email.
