About the Workshop

The workshop is designed to empower current and budding educators with the skills required to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) into modern teaching practices. Aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the program emphasizes innovative pedagogical approaches that enhance student engagement and promote effective learning outcomes.

Through hands-on sessions, expert talks, and interactive activities, participants will gain practical exposure to AI–ML tools relevant to the education sector. This initiative is expected to significantly strengthen the teaching–learning ecosystem in Meghalaya by enabling educators to adapt to 21st-century academic demands and cultivate a culture of lifelong learning and technological adaptability.
 


Objectives

  • Foster innovative pedagogical approaches through the effective use of AI and ML tools to enhance teaching and student engagement.
  • Equip educators with tools for flipped classrooms, gamification, virtual/augmented reality, and other interactive teaching practices.
  • Promote the use of technology to support inclusive education for students with diverse needs.
  • Strengthen global connectivity and cultural awareness using digital tools.
  • Support NEP 2020 goals by integrating AI concepts and tools into the curriculum.
