Candidates shortlisted for the screening test for admission to the M. Sc. Programme    under Institute mode (Regular) Category, Autumn 2025 Session

Based on the online applications received, the shortlisted candidates are called for appearing the written test and/or interview on the following date and time.

Written Test (23 July 2025)

Time: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon

Venue:  CSE Lab, Block A, National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Permanent Campus, Saitsohpen, Sohra – 793108, Meghalaya.

Interview: 23-24 July 2025

Reporting Time: 10:00 a.m.

Written Test (23 July 2025)

Time: 3:00 p.m.– 4:00 p.m.

Venue:  CSE Lab, Block A, National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Permanent Campus, Saitsohpen, Sohra – 793108, Meghalaya.

Interview: 23-24 July 2025

 

Instructions to candidates

  1. Instructions and other guidelines including the time and room allotted for the document verification and interview will be communicated by the concerned department, the same will also be displayed on the notice board of the department. The candidates may also be contacted through email from the concerned departments; hence, candidates are required to check their email frequently for updates.
  2. All candidates will have to undergo a document verification process which will be conducted by the concern department. The room allotment for the Document Verification process will be informed by the department concern. Only after successful verification of documents, the candidates will be allowed to proceed to the written test/interview.
  3. The candidates must bring the application fee payment proof (if applicable), all the original and one set of photocopies of their certificates (caste/EWS/PWD etc), marksheets, ID proof and other relevant documents for producing during the document verification process.
  4. Candidates must be present as per the allotted date and time. Request for rescheduling the written test or interview date or time will not be entertained.
  5. Candidates should fill the summary sheet and submit during the document verification process.
  6. (i) Local transport will be available from Shillong to Sohra, NIT Meghalaya campus.

(ii) Accommodation will be provided to the shortlisted candidates based on availability and prior information (earliest available Check-in from 22nd July). The candidates need to fill the form for accommodation.
