Admission Reporting Procedure for B.Tech Students (Selected through JoSAA/CSAB), Autumn 2024

Online filling of form & upload of documents: 10th - 14th August 2024

Physical Reporting at the Institute: From 12th - 14th August 2024 (Tentatively)

The provisionally allotted/selected candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully before proceeding for the reporting process, make the required payment, scan and organize all required documents and complete the necessary formalities by following the Instructions given below;

Procedure for online filling of form and document upload:

1. Arrange and scan the copy of original documents as mentioned in the ‘Document Checklist’ for uploading. The scanned documents should be clear and legible. Candidates are advised to obtain beforehand their 10th & 12th marksheets, passed/provisional certificates etc from their last attended Institute so that there is no delay in completing the online admission form.   
2. Fill the online form and upload all necessary documents. Link: Online Application Form
3. The Institute reserves the right to cancel the admission of a selected candidate in case of non-completion of the admission process, non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or furnishing false documents, at any point of time, without further notice.
4. The admitted students must compulsorily submit self-attested hard copies of all the documents as per the ‘Document Checklist’ at the time of physical reporting.

Balance Fees payable:

1. By students admitted through JoSAA rounds for AY 2024-25

2. By freshly registered candidates in CSAB Special Rounds and candidates who have retained/upgraded their seat in CSAB Special Rounds for AY 2024-25

3. By candidates who had withdrawn after Document Verification of their seat in JoSAA rounds and got allotted a seat in CSAB Special Rounds for AY 2024-25

4. By candidates who had Cancelled after Document Verification of their Seat in JoSAA Rounds and got allotted a seat in CSAB Special Rounds for AY 2024-25

2. For paying the Institute Fee,

         Search for NIT Meghalaya Fee Collection in the search box.

         Select the payment category which is applicable and fill in the relevant details,

                   B.Tech New Admission 2024 (JOSAA Round)

                                                       Or,

                   B.Tech New Admission 2024 (CSAB Special Round)

3. For paying the Hostel Fee,

         Search for NIT Meghalaya Hotel Account in the search box.

         Select Hostel Fees (New Hosteller) from the drop-down menu and fill the relevant details.

4. Print the payment receipt and save it for further reference and needful. If needed receipt can be downloaded again from payment history by entering DOB & Mobile no or DU number.

2. Admission Form (need to be filled, signed and scan for online submission). (Download here).
3. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.
4. All payment receipts paid to JoSAA/CSAB.
5. Balance payment receipt paid to NIT Meghalaya.
6. JEE Score Card.
7. All Educational grade sheets/mark sheets and Passed/Provisional Certificates.
8. Category Certificate issued on or after 1^st April, 2024 (For OBC-NCL & EWS candidates).
9. As per the Hon. Supreme Court & UGC/Ministry Regulations, all students should compulsorily fill in an Anti-Ragging Undertaking each year. To make the process easy, the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD) has developed an online facility. Undertaking should be filled ONLINE at www.antiragging.in and upload the Confirmation email copy during admission.

11. Proof of DOB (Class X admit card or marksheet, where DoB is mentioned).
12. Disability (PH) certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority in standard format (if applicable).
13. Hostel Application Form duly signed by student/parents/guardian if applicable. (Download here).

15. Latest passport size photograph (One no.)
16. Signature (for Institute ID card).
17. BPL Certificate (if applicable).
18. Voters ID Card & Aadhar Card.
19. First page photocopy of SBI Bank Account only for account details.

Any pending documents not submitted during physical reporting should be self-attested and submitted on or before 30th September, 2024 at the Academic Office, Deans’ Block between 3-5 PM.
