We are excited to announce the Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme on “Awareness cum Training in Solid Waste Management: Path to Entrepreneurship and Skill Development targeting women of Northeast India” at NIT Meghalaya, Sohra Campus, from 10^th to 14^th March 2025. This program is funded by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India

The program will create a dynamic environment for new developments in solid waste management by promoting cooperation between academia and industry and helping participants network. In regions with intense tourism, the goal is to motivate participants to create sustainable business models that utilise workable solid waste management techniques. Such an endeavour is essential to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

• Organized by: Department of Civil Engineering NIT Meghalaya
• Duration: 10^th -14^th March, 2025 [5 Days]
• Venue: NIT Meghalaya, Saitsohpen Sohra, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, India-793108
• Who can apply: University and College faculty, Technical Staff, Budding entrepreneurs, MSME representatives, Govt officials, Startup founders, NGO workers, etc
• Minimum Eligibility Criteria: Minimum Qualification- 12^th Pass degree. The program is open to individuals from across India interested in entrepreneurship. SC, ST, OBC, Women and PH Categories are encouraged to apply.
• Number of seats is limited to 20; seat is to be allotted based on first cum first-serve basis.
• Training by: Reputed Institutions like IIM/IIT/NEHU/Entrepreneurs
• Free registration: accommodation and food would be provided by NIT Meghalaya
