Overview of the Department Library

The Electrical Engineering (EE) Department Library is an essential resource hub designed to support the academic and research needs of students, faculty, and staff within the department. It serves as a specialized repository of knowledge, providing access to a wide array of resources tailored to the field of electrical engineering.

Collections and Resources
1. Books and Textbooks:
The EE Department Library houses a comprehensive collection of textbooks, reference books, and monographs covering fundamental and advanced topics in electrical engineering. These include subjects such as circuits and systems, signal processing, telecommunications, control systems, power engineering, electronics, and computer engineering.

2. Journals and Magzines:
A significant portion of the library's collection is dedicated to academic journals and magzines. These resources provide access to the latest research findings, reviews, and discussions in the field for power system, drives, control and signal processing. The library subscribes to key journals such as IEEE Transactions, Elsevier’s ScienceDirect, and Springer’s Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering.

3. Theses and Dissertations:
The library maintains an archive of theses and dissertations submitted by under graduate, post graduate and Ph.D students of the EE department. These documents are invaluable for current students looking for research inspiration, methodologies, and detailed studies on specific topics within electrical engineering.

4. Technical Reports:
Technical reports produced by faculty members and research groups within the department are also available. These reports often include cutting-edge research findings, project summaries, and detailed technical analyses.

5. Standards and Handbooks:
The library provides access to industry standards and handbooks, including those from IEEE, IEC, and other professional organizations. These resources are critical for students and researchers needing to adhere to industry benchmarks and best practices.

6. Conference/Symposium Proceedings:
The library also showcases the proceedinsa of departmental conference and symposium proceedings which includes contributions of current research.
