Applications are invited from highly motivated and dynamic eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ANRF sponsored following research project:

 

Title: Development of Minimally Invasive Printed Electrochemical Sensors for Personalized Levodopa Dose Optimization in Parkinson’s Disease.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

Fellowship will be INR 37,000/- p.m., for the first two years and INR 42,000/- p.m., for the third year.

The fellowship is available for a maximum period of 3 years / until the end of the project.

Candidates are allowed to pursue a PhD as per the institute norms.

Candidates may be provided with institute hostel accommodation as per institute norms.

The performance of the candidate will be assessed on a regular basis.

Candidates with an M.Tech. / M.E. in Nanoelectronics/microelectronics/semiconductor Sensors/ or related disciplines with experience in semiconductor devices/sensors and quantum simulation.

Or

M.Sc. (chemistry/Physics) with valid GATE/NET qualification

Or

GATE-qualified candidates with a B.Tech. / B.E. (CGPA above 8.0) in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines.

Knowledge of semiconductor, first principle simulation /density functional theory is required.

  • First principle electronic structure calculations using Density Functional Theory (DFT)
  • Familiarization with quantum/atomistic computational tools like QE, SIESTA, CP2K, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of programming and scientific computing.
  • Atomistic transport simulation using NEGF-DFT formalism PyTorch.
