Proposed Date, Time & Venue of Walk-in-Interview:  Date: 06-March-2025 (3:00 P.M. onwards, NIT Meghalaya, Permanent Campus, Saitsohpen, Sohra – 793108) [Administrative Block]

Period of appointment: The position is purely temporary and for 11 months w.e.f. date of appointment with a possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance and requirement of the Institute.

The selected candidate may be paid a fixed gross salary of Rs. 28,000/- month. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, or allowances are applicable. No pensions / gratuity etc. is applicable.

Terms & Conditions: -

1.    The candidate must be a citizen of India.

2.    Age Limit: The candidate shall not be above 45 years as on 06^th March 2025.

3.   Academic qualifications, as referred to above, are to be awarded by a recognized college/university/institution/board.

4.    The candidates must bring all relevant original documents for the walk-in interview on 6-03-2025. (Also, the candidates must submit Xerox copies of all documents along with the application form).

5.    No TA/DA and accommodation will be provided for attending the interview.

6.    Selection will be based on the interview performance /experience of the candidates as well as per the requirements of the medical center.

7.    If selected, shared accommodation in hostels may be provided to the candidate, subject to availability.

8.    NOC issued by the present employer (in case of Govt/PSU employees) to be submitted during the interview.

9.    Institute reserves the right to reject any or all candidates without assigning any reason thereafter and to re-advertise the post if no suitable candidate is found. The decision from the Institute side is final in the appointment.

10.  Candidates will not have any claim for a regular appointment in the Institute against this temporary appointment.

11.  Any dispute with this process will be subjected to court / having jurisdiction over Shillong.
